Day 5: Favorite dinner food

Favorite dinner food. Hmm…

Pasta. I have an obsession with pasta - plain or with just cheese or with sauce. But since I’m not a huge sauce person I can go with just cheese or just plain. I can eat endless amounts of pasta. Well… at least until I get super stuffed. But either way, I could practically live off of pasta haha.
Rice. It’s pretty much a staple in my diet. Rice with almost every dinner meal. Right? Haha. I love rice. Maybe that’s why Maiwand likes to joke that I smell like rice… >.>

Mashed potatoes. “Mashed perderders” says Jason :) That’s a dinner food right? I think so. Lol. I like that too.
And pot pies. Jason just reminded me I have one in the freezer :D Yum!

And curry. I don’t know. I’m just listing things that come to mind. Random.

I like a lot of things :)

Some things never change.

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning…

Today is going to be a long day.

1. Interview aspect of the admission process has been cancelled.
2. Orientation is only one day for incoming freshmen instead of the regular three.
3. Gates will be set up and surround the perimeter of the school.
4. Senior class will not have free periods anymore, but a full 8-class schedule.

This is not the CAMS I remember. Who’s handling the administration now? It feels like they forgot the spirit of CAMS and the main reason it really stood out.

Where’s the trust now? I love being able to leave my valuables on campus and know that if I come back 4 hours later they would be all in the same spot. How about those free periods? Don’t they realize those were the most memorable times in CAMS? Strong bonds are made during those relaxing moments. Important extracurricular work are done during those hours.

And about that damn fence. It’s a complete set back of the values we want to teach CAMS students. They’re mature dammit. And the responsibility of an open-fence school gives students a glimpse of a responsible adult. And don’t talk about protection from outside. The university encloses this once wonderful High school.

Can you please update me more on this? I’m getting pissed and I want to know who’s making all these changes.

Wow. And I liked CAMS for everything that they’re now changing. No more interviews? How else are they going to choose who gets in? And I think we all succeeded because they trusted us more than faculty do at other schools where students act out more.
